Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel should consolidate Youtube channels

There are very few views for the video. Consolidate and save costs. What Intel needs are people who can design competitive CPUs and GPUs, who can write software to compete with CUDA, who can deliver 18a tech, and who can manage factories efficiently.

Didn't watch, but at a glance it seemed like a DEI video. When I saw the word "governance," it probably had something about intersectionality.

"Is that the video that you meant to reference?"

Why spent the time producing the video that has very few views (<50 views in around 24 hours)? Each video should have a significant impact (based on view counts/statistics) to a much broader audiences.

From an outsider's point of view, people might ask if Intel tries to cut expenses, why they are still producing those videos that no one watches. If a Youtuber has such statistics, they should stop producing videos and do something else that is more productive/impactful.

Umm. That video is about security / governance / process stuff. It has no insight into how to save the company, and is pretty vacuous.

Is that the video that you meant to reference?

It is time to pick and choose the thing that Intel can do best and let go the rest. The boat is sinking fast.

"They have all been fired/ cpm'd from Intel and are now working for NVDA, AMD, OpenAI and others."

Hire back people that Intel needs the most, for example, ex-TSMC employees.

"....who can design competitive CPUs and GPUs, who can write software to compete with CUDA..."

They have all been fired/ cpm'd from Intel and are now working for NVDA, AMD, OpenAI and others. The beancounters and politicians are left making wonderful PowerPoints.
