This is insane. Average workers making $100-200K get laid off to pay SM this much? As Chief Executive Officer at TERADATA CORP, Stephen McMillan made $14,732,749 in total compensation. Of this total $800,000 was received as a salary, $950,000 was received as a bonus, $12,789,835 was awarded as stock and $192,914 came from other types of compensation. The SEC should investigate this. There is no oversight from the board since they are all in on the scam. I would love to see what he did for a $1M bonus - it certainly was not tied to revenue growth or stock price appreciation.

Most likely he is spending most of that on his alcohol dependence. Why any of the ELT deserve compensation is beyond me. They are inexperienced, have no leadership skills and are simply terrible in front of customers. Put them on 20k a year because that is simply about what they are worth.
Why compensate SM as a real CEO? He is a rookie with no track record successfully running a company and we are paying him like he is Frank Slootman? The board has zero independence or objectivity. Shameful

I'm sure SM has no trouble achieving the part of his bonus tied to DEI and cost reduction targets. Much easier to fire white male employees in high cost countries than build products customers love.
