Who the he-l came up with the idea to create this useless SAM (Sales Acceleration Manager) organization? They don’t even know what their actual job is. They try to randomly show up with partners, distis, and customers, but have no clue what they’re even doing there. The only thing they manage to do is drive the PAMs, DAMs, AMs, and SEs crazy. These people cost a fortune and bring zero value. Is this fail decision going to be fixed in the upcoming LR round?

Sales acceleration and market acceleration are two big BS in Cisco
The managers are creepy with no qualification, no business accumen or technology
Especially the hiring managers in IT are promoted developers

Another channel org with Mickey mouse metrics, tell me what the incremental value they bring is ?
What’s your role? That may determine why you dont find value in them. I’ve worked extensively with aligned SAMs and have nothing but good things to say.
