The Phone Balance Buyout is really a reimbursement. They don’t actually “buyout” your phone/contract from your current carrier. They need to rename it “Phone Reimbursement Program.” You pay off your device and Spectrum gives you a “Visa Gift Card” up to $2500 or $500 per line (minimum 3 lines, maximum 5lines) for coming to their network.
