Bass Pro announced more layoffs at its manufacturing plants in Lebanon and Bolivar. In the Ozarks aluminum operations, the company reduced its workforce by 10% or around 100 workers, out of its 1,000 team members.
In April, Bass Pro laid off 176 employees at three boat manufacturing facilities in Lebanon, Bolivar, and Flippin, Arkansas, because of a downturn in product sales. The largest number of layoffs came at the Tracker Marine manufacturing plant in Lebanon, where 85 employees were let go.
Bass Pro’s marine manufacturing division is known as the White River Marine Group, which manufactures and distributes Tracker, Ranger, Nitro, Triton, Sun Tracker, Regency, Tahoe, Mako, and Ascend Kayaks.
