Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Let's make Intel great again!

Many of us spent the childhood playing with these amazing machines, dreaming to be an engineer, an intel maker. At this critical challenging time, let's come together to treat this company as family (of course, whoever survives). The number of people making bad decisions is far less than the dream-chasers, ground-breakers. At some point, voices will be heard, ideas will be implemented. Be optimistic. Thanks.

Turn away from their products if you are affected by the layoff. Simple thing you can do to boot your mood.

Corporations are not people and they are not families. They will jettison divisions, workforce, and anything and everything that will make the shareholders happy. Isn't that one of the Blue Badge values? Corporations are ruthless and they will safeguard themselves and the investors are vultures who will pounce on the last ounce of flesh. So, sing all the slogans you want, the merry-go-round will throw a lot of people out on the wayside mercilessly. The CEOs and HR will summon the sermon. But don't be fooled by them.

Pat and his cronies used to laugh and laugh and say: "The whiners and the lab rats are complaining about canceling the iPhone project. Anyone remember that? Quite a dysfunctional "Family"

Chats in the hallways, letters to executives, petitions to keep iPhone project. etc etc. My voice was IGNORED for 30 years.

I’m all for it since I still have RSUs that are way under water. Luckily I left years ago. More power to you.

What makes you think that you are going to survive the carnage?

Corporations are not families, they pay you to do a job as long as they can make a profit off your sacrifices. Once, profit starts to go down, you and your family go out the door.
Stop fantasizing! This is capitalism, it does not care about family or country.
