Boeing...Space...hahaha! Boeing couldn't design a paper bag anymore.
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/boeings-new-ceo-may-need-a-decade-to-truly-turn-things-around-says-one-veteran-leader-141250966.html
So Boeing is now essentially a startup company with little experience and expertise to successfully compete in aerospace. And it will take at least a decade to turn things around.
Of course, this is what ex-Boeing employees have been saying for nearly two decades now... Does anyone seriously think that Boeing can spend a decade recovering and then be able to successfully compete with Airbus, COMAC, Embraer and SpaceX? I suppose Alaska, American and United would say "sure, no problem." But what about every other customer who isn't totally dependent on Boeing having a future?
Who would waste money on an obsolete rocket system that can't remotely compete with SpaceX? Even ULA's latest rocket system isn't reusable and can't be human rated. Buying Sears would be a better investment...and Boeing is now much like Sears too.
You can have it all. My empire of dirt. My
Glad I left Boeing for Rocket Lab. Better Country too. Good riddance ssuucckkeerrss.
The sale would be a off-loading of an un-remarkable asѕet,
far less valuable than the Renton 737 asѕet.
Dinosaur technology, managed by un-remarkable leadership.
Just like Boeing with their 1966 737 and their failed management.
Buyer Beware:
If ULA had any current or future value it would be a celebrated asѕet
and held close to the chest.
As it is, the only value is in the real-property i.e. the value of the dirt.
Sell the offices 100% work from home.
Sierra Nevada su-ks. As much as I do not like working at Boeing. I wouldn't want to work for Sierra Nevada either. They make it a habit to mistreat people there.
