Most happened weeks ago but not all. If your manager was impacted already, they may not have submitted a ranking but may have been asked to think about it. If your manager is still here, they will submit the stack ranking next week. Similarly, they will be ranked by their manager. It's a business decision to reduce more headcount, not personal even if it feels like it is. Performance is not necessarily a factor as revenue, timing and consolidated coverage are a factor. i.e. can your role be covered or split among others to meet the business needs. It doesn't mean a 20% cut is coming to each department though. Some might be deeper, some lighter. You and your peers will be numbered and the coming cut will be bottom up, and the size of the cut will be determined later but likely before fiscal year end. i.e. It could be all 3's, stop within the 3's, or extend into the 2's by department.
The full team will be numbered
10% will be in group 1
70% in 2
20% in 3
