Been here for 2.5 years and super nervous I’m going to be in this next round to the point I can’t sleep.
Just bought a house and have a wedding to pay for later this year. This couldn’t be a worse time to be facing layoffs.

OP why are you are concerned? How has your performance been? Most of the people in PBM finance who were let go last year were useless (and some were total jerks if we want to be honest) or in functions that were easy to go without. There’s a lot of solid hardworking people in that team that I don’t think have anything to worry about.
Post ID: @pof+1u1oATOP, most of us are here for real information, not to participate in your "culture war" bs.
Stop living in fear and find another job. Your skillset sounds highly in demand so find a more stable environment. Congratulations on the upcoming wedding.
Post ID: @pof+1u1oATOP, an if you're a racist id--t that uses the words "DEI hire" at every turn (because it's the new n-word), you'll surely get fired.
Not a popular opinion..but you can reduce your wedding expenses. Especially if your stressed.
If anything, plan them as if you are eliminated.
Financial issues eat at marrages and you dont want to start off with big bills.
Congrats, best wishes and good luck.
If I remember correctly. severance will be a max of 20 weeks - 24 weeks after the separation date. I think last year PBM layoff was on 8/17 and separation was on 10/15. so you get salary till 10/15. after that severance kicks in. Severance will be usually 1-2 weeks per year of service and with a max of 24 weeks pay.
Severance is based on your job code and years of employment. Most did get three months below poster.
Enjoy life but hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Just be smart.
Why would you think someone gets 3 months of severance after 2.5 years? It would be 4 weeks at best.
Also, PBM is fine. You won’t get laid off. Stop worrying and enjoy life.
Start looking NOW at other internal openings, and be open to completely shifting positions. At worst, you will have educated yourself on other areas of the business. Hope you don't have to submit applications.
The ones that struggle are those that are too picky and let their severance run out. I was affected last year, took a position early on knowing I wound not stay, but wanted to save the severance. It also buys time until you find somewhere you really want to be.
You will be fine if it happens, just be smart and savvy.
If you’re a DEI hire, it’s safe to assume you’ll keep your job
Getting laid off from CVS is a blessing.
I get the angst, but you'll be fine. If you do indeed get laid off, you'll get 3 months of severance (maybe more dependent on level) after your 60 days of employment runout. Your skills are super transferable - you'll find a job. Probably quickly. And it won't be at a place that you have to worry about getting laid off every few months.
