A 'New Dell' ?? Dude there's no new Dell. It's just more with less, disregarding the fact that a company this size also has a social responsibility. Dell was an icon, a respected company. When they treated remote workers like expendable furniture, it put an end to the human & social adventure this company was for me. Now with the layoffs, it's over. It's just another company that has no consideration for it's people that are an adjustable factor, nothing more. Making a 'Career @Dell' is something that belongs to the past. It's all about the money, as the wage slaves we are. Days of innovation, high spirit, friends and buddies with networking all across the company are over. new perspectives are unfriendly, short lived, unpredictable whatever you do.
I can only hope that the Dems once in place will break the social neck of all this big fat corporations that wipe their bottoms with their employees aspirations and lives, by implementing more labour laws and reinforce unionizing. Enough of this abuse.
