Connect week hours

How many hours do we have to be physically in the office each day during connect week?

your wife and kids do not matter, only connect week matters

When it was just 1 week a month, my wife was willing to rearrange her schedule to drop off and pick up the kids at daycare. Now that we’re at two weeks, my plan is to regularly come in late and leave early to help with the kids. This wouldn’t be an issue if we had flexibility on what days we come in and it’s not like you can find a connect week nanny who’s willing to just work every other week.

There is no actual daily hours requirement and that was told to me by someone very high up in the process

Saw a guy today who was on 'the List' had 35% lopped off his quarterly bonus directed by HR even thou his mgr originally submitted 100% recommendation. So that part is for real

My Director told me 5hrs is needed to count as a day in the office. Not sure why people don’t want to be there to watch upper mngt types strut through the cube rows as they look around to see who is staring at them. Look at me! Another meeting!

They updated the Dynamic Working FAQs this month and said associates should be working their full day and that people who are badging in just to get credit and make a pattern of it will be addressed. So they are tracking in and out and reviewing it.

My manager makes it seem like HR is going to fire anyone not in the building the full 40 hours.

My director made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal at all and just tell your manager if you’re not able to be there for whatever reason.

Right now there is no requirement for number of hours, but they are tracking that data. They do know if you’re swiping and leaving (coffee badging or po-p badging), and I suspect it won’t be long before they crack down on the people consistently doing that. You should be aiming for 4-6 hours minimum.
