Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

Lost another great support leader, don't dare question the VP

Lost our leader today. He tried to stand up for common sense and paid the price. Don't dare question the all mighty leader of support. Time for us on the floor to go elsewhere, anyone who tries to speak the truth of the problems with tools and/or account teams who want you to break the rules are Shudras.

post 100% about support managers and their simpering, orphaned employees

jp will not hear of it. if you are not in line, you are put into your place (embarrassed in front of everyone for stating the truth). hopefully netapp will realize that they need a leader in support that will listen to the teams actually providing support instead of beating them down for trying to provide the excellent support that we all want to. please get us a VP that wants to work with us..

Wait, someone in Support was let go, or left on their own accord? I'm not in Support, but tangential to them. I don't think we've heard anything about this...

No one in the current leadership team has the right vision, credibility or capability to replace the leaders that have left or made to leave the Support Organization. Long terms strategy is being sacrificed over short term transactional short-sighted decisions. Many more will leave if the leadership issues are not resolved.

No one will realize what needs to be done. George is asleep at the wheel. He has hired outside VPs that only came in to hire their friends and play at being managers. They want to make important decisions to feel important but don’t understand the impact of those decisions.
But its ok, the stock will go up with the rest of the market.

There were great leaders in support. When jn retired his replacement has removed them to either our competitors or unemployment. Will anyone in a senior executive role ever realize this as we lose our talent daily and the workers on the floor struggle to get through the day to try and help our customers without help from above? Everyone is afraid to say anything. Guessing layoffs are coming but not for him.

The egomaniac/narcissist VP of support is driving all talent and keeping all new talent for joining. Support leadership has gone through a full overhaul of all its leaders, all while under the leadership of the new VP, who does not welcome individuals thoughts… Customers will soon be impacted!
