The Chosen to do more work?
You do realise when they let people go the work doesn't just disappear. Even if that person was only doing 20 hours of work that 20 hours needs to be made up somewhere.
Now add multiples to that.
It's literally a tax levied on existing employees.
Yeah these chabges they made su-k. I'm applying each night to two jobs, but truthfully I've been applying to new jobs for awhile. I had a few offers they just weren't what I want3d so I haven't made a change but I'm dying to leave. They don't respect us and all this gaslighting on AHODs lately is totally bull. The7 actually said to not look at the media being published about Dell... it's embarrassing to still work here. This conpany is a dumpster fire of a train wreck
Maybe “the chosen” now but there is at least 10k more to get the the planned below 90k headcount

Loyalty and good intentions mean nothing to self serving sociopathic mid managers and directors.
What about the layoffs this week 8/12? I guess they are under the threshold. Maybe these were just spill over from last week but there are people notified this week.
