Just as Dell was a huge proponent of WFR because WFR helped sell its core hardware and services platforms, Dell is now a huge proponent of AI because it also sells their hardware and software. Thirty years later and it is still about cash conversion.

What else? Dell is business afterall....a badly run one but still a commercially minded business
Dell might be able to win more sonic wall business. More AI chatbots are needed to increase that business exponentially.
Our NativeEdge and Telco software offerings have been a disaster. Same with APEX. No one looks to Dell for software and we keep pouring tons into it. If we stopped the rabbit chases we could double down on hardware and actually do well.
I've been at EMC/DELL for almost 11 years and am not aware of any enterprise software offerings. The software I've seen has been to either implement a hardware solution (i.e. an OS) or tools to support/troubleshoot that hardware.
Enterprise Software is a completely different business model and a few incumbents have done quite well in that space, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc...)
hahaha. dell enterprise software. hahahha
Two questions :
- what software ?
- what did you smoke ? Or an omlet with mushrooms ?

and the latest trend that moves the merchandise
