US Vacation Days Quietly Updated

Looks like at the end of 2023 HR changed the vacation days reward without notice. Previously after 5 years you got 20 vacation days instead of 15. Now you get 5 more days after 9 years with the company.

Did anyone else notice this change or were made aware of it? More senseless OPEX cutting benefits that negatively impacts staff IMO. Not a huge deal as I’m sure they’d find a way to cut most of us before 9 years anyways.

3 weeks after 5 years and 4 after 7 yrs. I was hires in 2007. Had 4 weeks and now unlimited...I know there were changes and new hires got 3 weeks. Not sure if they get 4 after additional years.

I agree, it’s been 9 years since at least 2019

I don’t think that’s a recent change. Nine years was the benchmark when I started in 2019, unless I’m remembering wrong?

It’s been that way forever.

No, it was definitely 5 more days after 5 years. I'm coming up on 5, if I don't get cut in the next round or two.

It's been 4 weeks after 9 years since the EMC buyout?
