Travel freeze coming ASAP…then more layoffs or outsourcing…. ODP is in the same boat- they had a disastrous quarter and so did Staples….
I expect soon. Staples seems to be another organization that posts new job listings daily, conducts interviews, and then has no real intention of filling the position.
This organization let go of its best paid talent. Not because of skill, because their paychecks were too high. Pi-s poor loser leadership went with flavor or the month vs real proven leaders. Losers. We had a Director show up to a conference wearing a Hoodie looking like their a-s just got tore up by their bi--h buddy. Quill, HT, Staples, you all are fu---d. John cares about money, not you. I know this. We report to him. Someone needs to say it.
Certain inside sales teams will be eliminated in the fall, as well as a select number of territory/field reps.
Our consulting partners at BCG have proposed piloting an outsourced inside sales team (LatAm, not india) in order to increase productivity, as that's something that they've identified as severely lacking within inside sales for a long, long time.

Sales Ops was hit Friday. I'm hearing at least 5 were let go on the Salesforce team
They won't lay people off this month as it is our busiest month of the year. Once the dust settles hard decisions may need to be made. November 1st was the date last year. I could see it happening again around that time.
When will you people learn that layoffs never stop???
