Title says it all. This is the biggest fu--ing M&A blunder I have ever seen or been apart of. Feels like complete buyers remorse from higher ups. 0 initiative or desire to fix anything. Constantly kicking the can down the road with crucial issues that affect the both clients and reps. “We know balances are displaying wrong, day trade counter is wrong, etc etc, but you’re just going to have to push through/work around it”. Not a single Schwab or TD client asked for any of this. All clients and client facing reps suffer while middle and upper management sit back and pretend to do work that “matters”. Moral is at an all time low. The only thing keeping CS&S afloat are the reps and managers who support each other. This culture and situation feels like an “Us vs Them” situation where you have front line workers doing everything they can to keep this sh-t boat afloat with no hope or end in sight. No wonder Robinhood, Tasty, and other brokerages are successfully poaching reps. This is just the beginning. Oh, and the best part… Save a client from leaving that generates lots of revenue for the firm and you get a pat on the back. We aren’t even incentivized to keep business here. It literally doesn’t matter. You’ll get paid the same either way.
