Just participated in our meeting not too long ago. Urgent Care has 60 days before they permanently close.
With some of these new changes going on with internal medicine it seems that the MAs are next. New structure shows that it’ll be a 1 MA to 1 doc ratio so that department may be slashed in half too

When you say urgent care, are you meaning Med Express?
No this is for a location here in Texas. I was called in with another group since I came in to work late out of all days.
There’s an internal medicine department at our location and I guess it’s making that team feel a bit nervous of what’s to come
is this in California?
