Q3 and Q4 results will be disaster. Don't believe? Just hang on and watch the next 2 earning calls. The SVPs are micro managing the inventory and COGs right now.

This aged poorly
It's inventory Code Red. Heard there was an emergency planning meeting this morning by Jose. Anyone was in that call?
in Europe we have been cutting inventory for 4 weeks and sumer vacation is , what is going on
Saw the planning SVP sending emails to all planners to drastically cut inventory. All hands on deck!! Panic button fired! Commitment needed!!
Too many people working at the bench level, too few managers to "manage" them !
Does anyone have the same feeling that it's going to be a miss for Q2? Heard many sales have been rolled down and the planning team frantically asking to reduce inventory by $500M for 2H for TEBG alone. And the SVP and VP asking each to reply in email to COMMIT!!!
Should have never fired Vale. He would have morale soaring right now. And his nemesis got his way to get him fired over bogus gossip and then left to ADM when he didn't get the big banana.
Mike is ready to rock and roll.
@5cxb+1tyTjZ6Z Not sure. Possibly broke the site rules or something
Aw. Why did the first answer get deleted?!
(Wrong answers only)
Not a chance of missing quarterly targets. With so many of our staff working from home, we have become more competitive and will smash those numbers once again!
The latest ESC model promotes Silo thinking and doesn't seem to work. Planning SVP ask for reduced inventory and high service. Plant ops SVP ask to improve productivity and reduce headcount. Procurement says they don't have enough resources to handle all the suppliers. BSC say they don't have resource to look at end to end strategy. Logistic waits for events to happen and reacts to escalations. There are no more one BG Ops that in charge of entire visibility. This is the latest iteration of A3M that is bound for failure. Mark my words.
Wrong answers, as requested.
- We threw out too much good product when we did our latest inventory purge.
- Mike V's cuts came too late.
- Monish took it all to ADM.
- The lab has literally run out of product ideas.
- We have too many salespeople.
- Our marketers were too good. (...at marketing themselves to other companies...)
- That Wonewok environmental cleanup was far more than expected.
We should have cut more earlier : Mike V
We over invested in R&D.
(mamangement)----------we know the problems, but if we lower our heads and walk fast we can bypass the problems, cover your ears and eyes when you walk past production departments, keep your chin up when you lift your inflated salary, ok you didn't earn it but it is not your fault, your are getting that handsome salary,
Sizable miss
Right answer might be 3Ms arrogance by allowing a good portion of the employees they invested millions into, just for them to be plucked away by the competition, 3M pays to train the workforce, suffer the early mistakes and learning curves just so another company can hire them away, mainly because it takes 3M 18 months to react to anything happening in the corporation.
massive investments in EMEA plants , looks like the work is going to European sites ,
I’m sure he is presenting which is well beyond crazy insane. it will be an or-y of fawning over his record of the past five disastrous years. I’m thinking d-mb as a doorpost Roman might make an appearance as well. Cause he’s just hangin’ round.
Received so many requests from regional BSC and planning leads. All asking for cost down or inventory down from plants. All giving top down targets. Looks like panic buttons all pressed
Peter didn’t follow his son’s instructions.
Is monish going to present the finance this time round?
Bwahahaha!!,
