Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Upcoming Layoffs

Was told there will be a round first week of August and they’re already planning additional rounds in Oct/Nov timeframe. Will these ever end?

Expect a lot of shifts in groups including some groups shifting completely between L2 leaders.

Back in April, my department director told us that we would be having layoffs every month for the next 2 years. Some departments are getting ahead of it and cutting double or triple the original count so that they don't have to keep doing it, but it's happening in waves. HR was just notified of their layoffs on Monday (July 15).

@1pbg+1txyef1U What customers want AI?I worknin sales so actually curious as to what customers.
Ask people in sales what they are sitting on in sales quota for rhe quarter and that will give you an honest idea of if layoffs will happen.

There are monthly layoffs, some big some small. More towards EOQ and 2H. Leaders have been incentivised to let go off few folks every month till next Feb.

So we are covered for August, October and November. Another post has September layoffs. Can anyone please post that we will have layoffs in December also?

Once we cover this year then we can work out the next year.
