I am an Optum clinic nurse. I got an email maybe a week back, forwarded by my admin, after meeting invite was already scheduled, addressed to clinic nurses and office nurses, with a document with a series of questions asking about my view about my role and other random questions about my daily routine. I thought it was weird, my case manager did not receive an email like this after discussing with him. Anyone else receive anything like this?

To be clear, I do not support ANY RIFs going on. Just saying that the clinical/medical teams actually providing the care at the bedside level should be absolutely last resort and absolutely should not be in line before less valuable positions in the company. After all, the intent of Healthcare is to care for others. We can't very well do that without our most valuable team members :)
I am a nurse but do not work in a clinical setting, I work on the national side. I'm hearing rumors of laying off positions like SWs and other clinical team members, like yourself, getting these sketchy emails. I cannot fathom, in our industry, why this place would eliminate clinical positions and maintain others that ultimately bring little value or impact. It's completely unethical. I feel like I'm playing devil's advocate and absolutely looking to make a career change, resume is polished and job apps are being submitted daily. I wish you the best of luck and pray they don't eliminate valuable nursing (or other clinical positions) in any of the coming RIF phases thar are, without a doubt, right around the corner.
I too am a clinic nurse with Optum and got that same crazy paper with my job description. It didn’t come an email form, my administrator printed it out and handed it to me. She told us, there four of us, just fill it out and return it as soon as possible. It felt sketchy then, it feels even more sketchy now. My office is packed, I’m ready just in case.
They didn’t do this at my company and realized just days later that the people they let go did a lot more than they thought they did. We are still climbing out of that hole.
Was the email from The Bobs?
They sent out some questions like that about case management roles , like what were your duties etc. This company is always up to no good. Sneaking around, meanwhile they have so many investigations going on maybe some one should ask them if they know what their role is.
