Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Nothing will change for the better

And the hits just keep on coming. Once again this is not surprising at all. Poor decisions by senior executives AND failure to see the Medicare issues ahead of them has once again led to the little guy getting sc--wed. Meanwhile all the kool-aid drinkers continue to make the heart symbol with their hands on social media.

This has become the norm. I think that those who are smart enough to see what's going on are already looking for a way out. I certainly am.

I literally don't care about this place anymore. Survey results seemed to suggest I'm not the only one. Paluso has watched engagement drop survey after survey and she's considered a god in some circles...

I totally agree with you OP. But it is going to get a lot worse.

On top of your comments, bad decisions are being made every day in every department.

New Leadership that is being brought in is being told to "Mix it Up". This is causing the smartest, most engaging, caring, original thinking, business understanding, mentoring employees/managers to be seen as a threat to the new leaders. Which of course gets their name on a list for a layoff, or they just leave on their own.
This is especially true in DDAT/IT, Legal and Finance.
What has been created is, a department/company led by power drunk, overreacting leaders with a bunch of mediocre at best stale employee yes-bots.

The good people are gone... the ones that have been around for years that everyone thought would be gone by now remain. Everything is backwards at CVS.

The talent drain is real, I am also looking to leave as the golden handcuffs aka stock grants are not worth the anxiety anymore.
