I'll even volunteer if I can. I had some good times here and I used to love my job but this place has changed so much that I've decided it's time for a change on my end as well. I'll be leaving soon enough one way or another. I just hope I get the call rather than somebody who's happy here.

Wow, I really appreciate your honest candor. None of this is easy for any of us. I’m glad to hear that there a quite a few of you that can withstand a layoff or even early retirement. I have several long term friends at the plant that were able to save and invest well over the years. Many of them made a handsome dollar on their homes and small properties purchased back in the day. It didn’t quite work out that way for me, hit a few bumps on the road into my later years. Health issues, loss of immediate family, house fire set me back. We’ll, me and Bosco, my chocolate lab will be just fine, at least we have each other. I hope to make it to 50 years with the company. Thank goodness for social security and medicare
