You guys can become a member of the “Journey” team:
I'm excited that we have a new Senior Journey Architect role on the team. This role will focus on some of the exciting new initiatives are part of our Consumer Transformation. Please let me know if you are interested. We are looking for people in Charlotte, Raleigh and Atlanta, but would support relocation for the right person.
to the "JP next" person....do you not read your emails?
If this is true,
Truist now has 40,000 employees, the company said.
That means 13000 people have been let go in the last 18 months. I’m calling bullsh-te on that.
Fingers crossed JP is next.
Pretty much this, the layoffs from last Thursday were between 450 and 700 teammates, a majority of CT&O + HR coming soon with the rest being gone by October but probably much sooner, I was one of them. Somewhere around 200 to 240 Accenture jobs were allowed which were not allotted for any of the Network or Voice folks. I highly advise not purposely looking for other jobs within Truist at least in the IT realm, the end goal here is to offshore anything within IT that they can so if you look and reach out for a new IT position you may also be let go again in the near future. If your an FTE, take your severance and run as fast as you can away from this collapsing mess. In my decade+ of working for banks, Truist is aligning perfectly for another merger where they are the loser. Trust your gut, if it feels wrong and uncomfortable, you're right.
I was here for many many many years and was fortunate to have a phenomenal team, great manager, the rest of it though was a complete mess outside of that.
Good luck to you all on your future positions!
"Do we know the number of teammates impacted from this?"
"Yes - all of them!"

The one thing this article doesn't state is that Truist isn't just cutting jobs. They are laying off FTE's to move the work offshore under managed service contracts with Accenture and Cisco.
"Truist regularly assesses opportunities for continuous improvement," the spokesperson said. "We recently notified technology teammates about certain roles that will be impacted by Truist’s strategic initiatives. These initiatives will accelerate the enhancements of our platforms and processes, deepening client relationships and providing enriched client service. Truist has established processes to support and assist impacted teammates, including working with teammates to identify available opportunities internally and externally.”
Bill and Beau and Joes plan is working. Stock has been soaring, oh I can’t forget Mikey’s contribution. They don’t need the other members of the gang of 23, they got this. When the Fed lowers rates back to 2% or less stock will be double today’s price in a year.
Whooo hooo!!!!
LOL, how has laying off people ever improved operations or strengthened relationships with customers? The folks are nothing but BS artists.
"Truist said the move will improve its operations and strengthen relationships with its customers. The cuts will occur over the next three to four months."
Beau to CEO. Trim the rest of the fat.
Restructure this bi--h clownshow
