My husband was referred to a new employee relations group recently. Is this new? Is it for the protection of employees or for the benefit of the company?

thats not what your husband meant when he told you he was having new relations
He probably meant ERG (Employee Resource Group). Have nothing to do with protection of employees.
What country are you in? Could this be a subset of the US HR?
