I’m wondering if you have insight about the stability of IGT. I’m job hunting and curious if anyone can share information they know. There is a position that I’m very qualified for and interested in, but saw the news about the future merger with Everi and I’m wondering if it would be a wise move to accept a position at IGT. I know no one has a crystal ball, but I’m trying to identify pros and cons to help my decision.

IGT isn’t doing as good as the used to. Too bad because they used to be great.
Every few months IGT does at least 2 rounds of layoffs. I would run from this company.
Ouch. It used to be good but they outsource those jobs to Serbia now.
The position is for a software engineer based in Reno, NV.
