Remove SVP layer and merger with VP and remove non skilled and people who focus on politics rather work, I know 95% SVP people are politicians, they don’t even have basic knowledge for current market, we can not blame them completely as citi not focused proper learning ways to upgrade its team.

The SVP i know in Emirate, barely has a high school diploma and is getting paid outrageous amounts of Money while having zero qualifications. This is a scam.
I know a contractor that lost a tile due to something with education not checking out as presented. Fact.
Education is checked only for employees that too not 100% covered. No checks for consultants. Consultants hold the upper hand in Citi than employees
@avh+1tvU6JOi- Education is checked. I know of a couple of scenarios where whether an honest mistake or not was caught. I think it depends on who is doing the checking. In one case the consultant had something re: education that other banks should have caught and questioned. They did not. C did.
I don't think same applies on VP AVP D and MD too,I don't think removing anything is solution
Im my group we have SVPs that report to SVPs. LoL its so stupid and none of them have been laid off.

True! SVP in my group are so useless and they still thought they are bosses after became IC. Their boss told them no change but what is the point of this reorg? This is why Jane can not reach her goal due to all these games played. No change after the biggest reorg?
I think SVP's and D's should demonstrate hands-on in Tech or Business in addition to Leadership. Remember Directors are nothing but Principal engineers in Citi. The focus should be on removal of "Vendor" consultants to avoid politics. Most of these SVP's are converted consultants those project they hold the secret sauce of the business.
I know some good SVP's and VP's were let go just because of politics and its going to continue.
Apart from all the above mentioned, a thorough background check has to be performed on employees. The background check is just performed on last 5 years of work and not on education and previous companies. Most of these SVP's hold fake profiles.
