Z recently spoke at a conference in New York. In this speech speech she was very long on what Phillips 66 is going to do in the future with Emerging Energy and very short, except for Rodeo, on what Phillips 66 has actually done in that regard.
Basically, it was the same song and dance we’ve been hearing for more than 2 years after our CEO stated that she was the perfect person to lead Emerging Energy.
I guess that right if you want to stuck in a quagmire.

Shhhhhhhh, we don't say R&D anymore.
EE is the new fig leaf, just like all that solar cell research in the Bville R&D group. One or ten million sounds like a lot, but compare it against the cost of adding even just one new fractionator or a pipeline replacement, etc.
Who is actually leading Emerging Energy? Suresh?! Listening to Zhanna is like listening to the word salads provided by the poster child of DEI, Kamala Harris….
