They sit in meetings all day and have absolutely no clue what people need to do. The training has been pi-s poor since day one. You are on your own and will be treated like cattle when your sla-ghter day has arrived. No respect. Be defiant. Take control of your own destiny. Seek new opportunities & skills. They aren’t worth your time and health.

Most managers have no idea how to do the job let alone the job of their direct reports. Promotions at Canon USA are awarded for the wrong reasons. Let’s not even discuss the directors and above, never should have even made it to manager to begin with !!

My team is pretty good, can't speak for the rest of Canon. But I do agree that a good portion of meetings are just reiterating the same bs over and over. Like you want me to be productive and do something? then clear my fking calendar!
