Bnsf lost 15 coal contracts for 2025. They are parking auto racks on the main line on the Sandhills sub. (Anselmo and cover) . Anyone that retires or leaves a job, they cut. They might as well cut the HR job there

Close down Alliance like they did Guernsey soley because of the laziness and underperformance of the diesel shop. It's a problem they can solve and has cost good workers in other crafts good jobs because of entitlement.
Obviously they are looking at contract work since the liability isn't there and cheaper to comply with fra requirements. Wouldn't surprise me one bit. 17
The overtime for machinist is pretty good right now not to mention the amount retiring in the next year. I doubt it.
Again??? I have heard this rumor almost every election year but during a time of ferlow alliance is so understaffed they have open overtime??? The car shop I can see with as many car scans shops in the area and the lack of work ethic the alliance Carman have. That would be no surprise but they won't ever close the diesel shop.
BS.. they are absorbing craft guys from the Denver furlough.
