One thing they learned from the pandemic, if my employees can do the work from home, I now have the possibility of moving it offshore. Also, from the last two years, I've seen layoffs happen in August and September.
I’ve heard they are trying to move a lot of us based processes overseas. Seems like they are trying to outsource as much as possible.
The actual separation doesn't need to occur before end of quarter/year. As long as they can tell shareholders there is a plan in place for cutting heads, all good. Can execute later.
We had 50% of our team laid off mid quarter. Definitely not impossible.
