More than 100 people will soon be out of work in Winona, as an auto parts manufacturing plant will be permanently closing.
According to the Minnesota Employment and Economic Development State Rapid Response Team, BCS Access Business System U.S. will be laying off nearly 117 hourly and salaried employees from its facility, located on Industrial Park Road in Winona.
This will be happening in phases, starting July 26.
Officials said some of the employees represented by unions will have seniority rights and certain bumping rights.
