Where are the 7k VMware simps? Hock is planning to invest in VMware, we will grow next year and I don't expect further layoffs. Hock's idea is to trim mostly low performers and hire top tier talent and grow the business. I am so excited to see the future of Broadcom and VMware's products! 7k my *ss _|_
The package is VMware agreement with BC and good until November. After that BC will offer as little as possible and that’s when headcount reduction will be maximized
In the US, 2 months of staying on payroll but doing nothing; much like just being at BC. Then 2 months severance + 1 week per year up to 12 weeks.
In some European countries it is 4 month salaries + RSUs for the next 2 months after termination (if any). In the same countries VMware package is 12 salaries + bonus and stock, so it is significantly worse.
