Thread regarding BNSF Railway layoffs

BNSF issuing layoffs or layoff warnings without warn notices

Moreno came to temple and announced all business is slated to be routed around temple, CMO over red river division. The layoff is deleting or removing posts that mention it, without any clear violations of its posting policy, so most likely BNSF has paid the layoff to remove posts that accurately put out BNSF plans or has someone running interference for them. Either way, he also said that BNSF is looking to cut 50% mechanical workforce by end of the year due to lost contracts that include fedex and ups going to UP, and potentially more losses based on mechanical not keeping up with the demands of the railroad. It seems that BNSF is violating the law by failing to issue Warn notices, that require large companies to notify the government when they plan to furlough or layoff a certain number of workers due to the economic impact to the country. It’s going to be a short peak season for a lot of people and the corporate spin machine is already letting people know who they are going to blame and how they are going spin it.

re:deletions If you named someone who isn’t a c-suite or other public figure, chances are site mods deleted it due to a site rules violation. The first time I heard about this rule, I thought it was rather stupid. However, considering what a few cowards I work with are capable of, it's probably for the best.
