Thread regarding Medical Solutions layoffs

When will the next layoffs be? Seems like it will be soon with all the new stuff happening.

Anyone think they have an idea when the next round of layoffs will or who will be affected the most?

if I had to guess the next town hall is July 31st which is right at the end of Q2. They have a habit of having town halls and within two weeks doing another round of layoffs. Based off of all the changes and quick timelines to have folks trained in credentialing I speculate there will be another drop in credentialing and possibly sales ,maybe some management. So logistically do another round of layoffs at the beginning of Q3 to boost the bottom line and try to recover anything for the rest of the year to be closer to their goals and and have the time to reevaluate for 2025. There is too much behind the scenes that they are not being transparent about. None of the changes "for the business" make any sense and look like they are just making quick decisions off the hip without thinking about any of the long term affects towards clinician and the internal staff. Some teams are so overwhelmed with what has been put on their desks they are already leaving and quickly.

I’m a product of the October 2023 layoffs. I’ll be real general here…do yourself a favor and get your resume ready. This company has become as toxic as a toilet with sh!t in it. Don’t believe the company. Make your next steps for an exit now. Whatever shell of a company is left will be toxic managers. You don’t want to be here. The managers left are su-king the life out of all employees left there. I wish you all well. There is life after medical solutions and it doesn’t su-k! Good luck people!

Purely speculative, but I think it will be a bumpy road in fall. Based on what I’ve heard from travelers there is no reason to believe the market will pick up any time soon and if we’re not meeting our metrics now, why would we be in Q3 or Q4?

From the rumblings I've heard and talking with management, it will be by Jan 2025 when things will be reassessed and layoffs will happen if the goal wasn't met. The goal wasn't met this last quarter. I'd start looking for another position in the meantime. Better to have another option than wait until that pop up meeting happens. One thing is certain, another round of layoffs are going to occur by the end of the year. It's just a matter of time now.
