I went from loving to work here to actively looking for a new job, because this company has no future. Not because the employees are incompetent, not because we can not make innovative products that there will be a demand for, not because we don’t have great potential. It’s only because we have leadership that literally doesn’t know what to do with all of the above.

360 degree reviews are a great tool. I had a comprehensive one when I was a manager at GE. It was very enlightening. This would never occur at Medtronic. I was an IC, senior attorney, at Medtronic. I wanted nothing to do with a management position at Medtronic. Too many weak managers, right to the top. This can easily be spotted in Medtronic employee presentations by constant reference to "the leadership." That shows insecurity.
It is surprising and perplexing how some individuals ascend to the VP level without clear qualifications. Implementing comprehensive 360-degree feedback is crucial to ensure only the most capable are promoted. Additionally, high turnover within a department should be a significant red flag, prompting immediate investigation and action from the OU president to address any underlying issues.

Hold your horses…there are plenty of incompetent employees hired by incompetent management. People hire in their own image, which trickles down from the top
