Hang in there colleagues as we only have a few more months of JES remaining. The large police presence Downtown for John's retirement celebration should have been proof enough of just how unsafe this city really is. Officers on foot, on motorcycles, and circling the area in squad cars. This was all in addition to the increased NM security presence there. Keep on fooling yourself if you think this city is safe.
@4dso+1tsH113Y I've been told that TG was actually one of the driving forces behind those efforts as part of using DEI tactics to diversify the field and target recruiting more FRs from different groups.
At the same time, his new metrics sheet for AIP for 2025 that he implemented are now quantitative business goals, and it's nice as you can see when it's updated how close we are to 100% and 200% AIP. He does come from a field-focused background so that makes sense.
Does anyone think JES or TG learned anything about DEI hires from the recent secret service fiasco?
It depends if TG obsesses over DEI and SARE or if he chooses to focus on the business.
