Have there been more cuts today so far?

MMS platform, R&D, service, ops, and US marketing all impacted today.
It was not small. It was across multiple departments from what I heard IA had big losses however that started before yesterday but also some were yesterday. FSEs apparently took the brunt with around 50-70 layoffs which is 1/4-1/3 of that division so number may look small but you need to compare it to how few workers there are. I was also told today a plant in Ireland was closed yesterday.
I have an idea of what might be going on, there's been telltale signs going back to the start of the merger that I've been watching. I'd tell anyone left in the affected part of the company to start looking elsewhere because their jobs are not secure for even the next 5 years probably. I think when it comes down to the end people are going to have to start reapplying for positions that will be vastly different.
Or was this just a small, targeted round?
