Been hearing that some recently laid off employees are getting emails from HR asking them to reapply because they've laid off too many people. Can anyone confirm or know more about this?

Hasn't happened to me but I wish it would. Id love to let them know my new role came with a 55% increase in comp and respectfully but firmly ask them to beat that new number by 50% 😂
This company does not appear to give two turds about the people that made it once strong.

This is happening in Placement. They’re obligated, I think, to offer recently laid off individuals their jobs back (with interviews required) before hiring externally.
