Due to new product efforts for Converge at Amwell there are layoffs happening currently in multiple departments. It was not a 10% reduction as described on prior articles for end of 2023 but a clear message that “your work won’t be needed as we move to Convergeas they move to a contract model”. Therefore, the writing is on the wall that this is the start of many layoffs.
Anyone working in these departments should assume they are getting laid off before end of fiscal year (Jan 1) when they can report low operating costs.
Feel bad for those who are behind that are the clean up crew on steroid with no future.
