Any new information on if CHA positions are to be included in layoffs and if it’s CHAs in certain markets or in ALL markets ?

It’s primarily a sales job. Was previously a dual role with telephonic outreach to new patients and education to their Primary Care Physicians. A lot of the scheduling new patients piece has been eliminated because they have a call center using an autodialer.

The Community Health Worker requisition was added to the internal job posting page for an awful lot of markets. The requisition itself describes a lot of what a CHA does in FPM, only now it requires LPN, CMA, BH, CHW accreditations.

Doesn't look promising and this is no way to live, not knowing.
