my understanding is that the severance is based on job level and not years of experience. Is that still true?

I don't know about severance but I know of one high value SE with 30+ years experience and was the best technical resource in the region has been taken out. The team is shattered and a few now planning to leave in protest

The AMS package is terrible. I am a director level with decades of time. minimal weeks of pay and healthcare. It is in the employee information on the HR portal if you look deep enough
