Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

Voyix had a little stock price jump today

Voyix Up 5.6% today, maybe the digital banking side is going to sell? 3 billion would clear their debt, its a start?

Champagne for mullet boy as he ran off with $millions after the split.

DW will also get a big bonus if he can sell Voyix.

Can someone explain the champagne and balloons mentality that NCR took? Since the split, layoffs, client loses, digital banking going up for sale.
There doesn’t seem to be any real growth going on or even holding steady. Both sides are in decline at least here in the USA.

The vision could not have been to crumple up and slowly fade away ? What am I missing here? Cause there was extreme enthusiasm headed into the split.

Does not matter. David W could not manage a lemonade stand. He was a train wreck to the Retail group the day he started. Has been ever since.
For many years NCR supplied POS registers, support and SW for the Masters in Augusta. NCR got publicity and recognition as official sponsor at food venues and gift shop. Hundreds of CEO, COO, CIO, etc. saw NCR in action. Not sure how much in sales was generated over the years. Then came DW, he told the officials at Augusta that NCR would no longer participate for free, “if you want NCR, you have to pay for it”. Augusta told him to “go away” and got another vendor to do it for free advertising, publicity, etc. The mo--n cooked the golden goose. Word spreed about “cheap” NCR and sales fell every since.
