Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

Mass layoffs lately?

Has anyone seen mass layoffs in the last few weeks? Everything seems to be a person here and there, not the 20% of some location.

They do layoff smart these day so that the numbers do not trigger consultations. Lesson Learnt from the previous layoffs I guess: they are now experts in this field

Morale is at an all time low and it hasn't been good for years.
Everyone I talk to either has submitted a resume to go elsewhere or comes to work every day hoping and praying for a layoff package.
It's a sad way to live, but it's driven down from the sh---y executive leadership.
A company is more than spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations. There are real people here, good people, hard working people. But MCB and crew have forgotten that the people make this company what it is.
