Hi all. So is this week coming up the potential week of layoffs or the following week? I’m nervous. While I am very unhappy with my role and the environment of this company, I am just nervous if I never am able to find something new.

I was laid off in April along with a few of my coworkers. It is tough out there. Have applied to almost 100 jobs with optum and only get the generic rejection letter. DON'T wait to sign the severance(after the 2 weeks). They took forever to pay out!
Same, I wish someone from HR could confirm as well. I have a job offer. While it is not great, a smaller guaranteed paycheck is better than wondering how long you will continue to get one. I am trying to ride out until we get the notice but I will only be able to push this off for so long. At this point I am hoping that it is this Thursday but for insurance purposes, July 28th would be great.
I wish there was someone on from HR to confirm the date.

I've been hearing rumors that 7/18 will be when they notify us of termination and that Aug 1st will the last day and Aug 1st is a Thursday of a pay week......sooooo yeah also if that's the case no one quit stay till the 1st make them give you your severance pay
People saying the 18th but that is a pay week not the end of the period; it’s my understanding that they do layoffs the Thursday at the end of the pay period which would be the 11th or 25th. I’m so confused

Start applying now. There are much better jobs than this dumpster fires. This is what they want you to believe. Seek ...you will fine.
