I keep seeing the rumors on here that July will be a RIF month… does anyone know who exactly will be involved in these round of RIFs?

I’m with episource who is currently merging next month with optum. we’re supposed to get our transition letters any day now this month. based off of previous mergers I’ve seen that it’s very likely this is when they make the cuts. do you think the lay offs will be in an email or their usual mandatory meeting?
I know Optum Tech is going to get hit hard. 10% cuts across most non-business critical portfolios. High Cost of living and remote employees hit first most likely. Also grade 30s and up that don't have direct reports or had their direct reports taken away in the last year.
I talked to my buddy who part of M and A and the financial assessments and close to the C suite (we went to college together). OGS is going to be shuttered early next year in favor of big contracting houses. After the hack and Witty getting embarrassed in front of congress huge focus on a more timezone friendly solution like South America for tech going forward.
H1bs and OPTs will be targeted in the next rounds. Big political push coming to move these programs to merit based which means regular performance audits of employees (spoiler no one at Optum will pass these) and could go as far as h1bs are not allowed in manager positions or be involved in hiring panels BY LAW!
Good luck to everyone! I know I'm safe because my buddy is looking out for me.
Rule of thumb if you do not provide the core service you are a target. In other words if you are not rendering care to the patient better start looking
Would anyone know if
'Pre-Service Coordinators'
are considered 'non-clinical staff within Clinical programs'?
“ Non clinical staff within Clinical Programs ” does this include medical coders? specifically risk adjustment coders?
Non clinical staff within Clinical Programs are on the chopping block second quarter
