Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

This sums up a lot of Truist issues

So much truth to this.

A harsh reality every company needs to face:

➟ Top performers lose motivation when they see poor performance rewarded.

➟ Productivity and innovation decline as unqualified people are promoted.

➟ Morale suffers when favoritism and politics outweigh performance.

➟ Your best employees leave to find a company that truly values merit.

The costs of promoting the wrong people are too high.

Companies need to commit to fair, transparent advancement based on performance and potential.

Promoting the wrong people costs more than just money.

It costs you your best people, your productivity, your culture.

Promote wisely.

“ An elitist, incompetent executive team who despises the very workers who are the ones paying for their mistakes.” Describes the Democrat parties views of the black community. Now this comment is going to be removed. Look up Vince Everett Ellison for the truth.

The board is bought and paid for. They rubber stamp whatever BillyBob says do. The audit committee should be held liable for the data breach and the mess that TAS is today.

I think the massive culture problems at Truist can be linked to one simple cause. An elitist, incompetent executive team who despises the very workers who are the ones paying for their mistakes. What a great way to foster teamwork and loyalty.

I have worked at other banks with challenging work environments, but have never seen anything close to the robber-baron type antipathy towards workers that exists at Truist. The only people close to the situation who don’t recognize executive management is the primary problem, are the only ones who could deal with it, the Board.

Reading the above reminds me of this quote, can’t remember who authored it:

“ One of the great mistakes is to judge policies and programs by their intentions rather than their results.”

This applies to businesses as well as government.
