that's all folks.. time to bail out of this dysfunctional company
Macy’s is like a cake with the real estate being the icing. You can throw away the cake but keep the icing
No news means we can presume it’s going happen. Get those CV’s ready
Stock was flying on Friday, so someone thinks that it's going to happen.
$6.9 Billion from $6.6 Billion. Getting close to the selling price, but the property is still worth $8 B to $12 B from recent estimates. Perhaps they meet somewhere in the middle?
No comments from Macy’s gives me the feeling this is a done deal.
Macy's hasn't been worth anything since the 90s!!
Book Value. The market dictates value. Real Estate is not worth as much since crime is spiking in most major cities and the economy is horrible
Book value is $30-$35 per share. Macy’s would be a fool to accept $24.80
$0.80 offer more per share is laughable. Stock is still undervalued and if the company starts any liquidation of real estate on their own then the investors will fold their tents. The margins will no longer be there for them to go higher and force the issue. IMO they lack the financing of making any legitimate offer in the high $20s to $30 range.
Good news!
$26 to $27 are the key buyout numbers. It will happen and then there will be a restructuring.
Company can keep making changes but it has to get out of the public eye
They’ll boost to 26 and it’s done
