Severance Package

In case anyone wants to know what they offer, it's entirely based on grade level.

Grade 6-9: 2 mos base salary (9 weeks)
Grade 10: 3 mos base salary (13 weeks)
Grade 11-14: 4 mos base salary (17 weeks)
E1-E2: 6 mos base salary (26 weeks)
E3: 9 mos base salary (39 weeks)

Medical, dental, vision only thru the last day of the month in which you are riffed or
last day of the pay period. Those laid off on Thursday June 27 lost the health coverage on Monday, July 1. COBRA available for 18 months.

Maybe 10% of the staff who were laid off received any type of severance - most people just got the shaft
