I got riffed as part of the Halloween Sweep and now found my dream role which I begin soon. Time away from working life at Teradata has taught me that it really is not a nice place to be at.
When I joined, it was great and we were winning deals and making great money. But I witnessed the steady decline with ELT's joining who were obviously out of their depth and the death spiral began. Today I read from afar, that the entire ELT currently there are nothing but a bunch of no hopers with zero understanding of data and analytics.
If anyone asks me whether Teradata would be a good company to join, I will tell them straight up not to do it. And I encourage everyone to warn others thinking of joining.
The fun part is that my new job, I will be taking business away from Teradata. My life mission now is to help customers accelerate their migration off a legacy platform. Revenge will be ever so sweet
